About Us
Good Caws Crow Rescue Society is a provincially licensed non profit bird rescue located in CANADA serving the community of Prince George, BC and surrounding areas. Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned and injured wild birds with a special focus on corvids. We also actively educate our community on how to coexist with, and understand wild birds local to our area.
Its Injured Bird Season
If you find a bird on the ground that cannot fly do not assume it is injured. If it can hop around and is alert there is a good chance it is a fledgling and is in the process of learning to fly. Parents will usually be near by feeding and protecting their young. The best thing to do is keep your pets and kids clear of the area and give them space. They will move on shortly. If it is dragging a wing or unable to stand put him in a box in a quiet area and shoot us a message.
